Tendthread is run by one person, so there is no ticket system and no first-line script. There are three addresses, and which one you use only changes how quickly the right thing happens.

Where to write

Anything at all
hello@tendthread.com
Questions about the product, how something works, a bug, an idea, or telling us it did the wrong thing. This is the right address if you are unsure — it reaches a person, not a queue.

Your data, or someone else's
privacy@tendthread.com
Access, correction, deletion, objection or portability — for your own account, or if you received an email sent through Tendthread and want to know what is held about you. You do not need an account to ask.

A security problem
security@tendthread.com
Vulnerability reports. Kept separate so a report is read as a report rather than landing between billing questions.

What to expect

A real reply from the person who builds the product. We are not going to promise a response time we cannot staff — but a data protection request has a statutory deadline and is treated accordingly, and a security report goes to the top of the pile.

If you are reporting a vulnerability, the security page says what we ask of you and what we will not do in return.

The company behind it

Tendthread is operated from the United Kingdom and its terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The registered details are published in the privacy policy as they are confirmed.

For who is actually behind it, see about.
